Downhill fun at Hochzeiger

Route description:

From the junction of the Pitztal Bike Route (parking lot at the Kienberg Bridge), the route initially follows a gravel path until reaching the village center of Jerzens. Then on an asphalt road until the junction of Breitwies. There, heading towards Schwaig, follow the steep road until Kaitanger - then the fun really begins.

A winding, not very steep gravel road leads past the Stalderhütte, the Hochzeigerhaus to the Jerzner Alm and a few more elevation meters up to the midpoint station of the Hochzeiger cable cars.

It is also possible to use the gondola lift as a means of transport and tackle the MTB route from the middle station as a downhill track. However, please be mindful of the numerous pedestrians and also the vehicles that are allowed to use the route.
