Pitztal JERZNER ALMWEG - HOCHZEIGER

From the junction of the Pitztal Bike Route (parking at the Kienberg Bridge), the route initially leads over a gravel path to the village center of Jerzens. Then on an asphalt road until the intersection at Breitwies. There, head towards Schwaig, following the steep road until Kaitanger - that’s where the fun really begins. A winding, not very steep gravel road leads past the Stalderhütte, the Hochzeigerhaus to Jerzner Alm and a few more altitude meters to the middle station of the Hochzeiger cable cars. There is also the option to use the gondola as a means of transport and tackle the MTB route from the middle station as a downhill track. However, please be mindful of the numerous pedestrians and the vehicles that are permitted to drive on the route.
