By train from Cham to Lam. Then continue on the cycling path over Schrenkenthal to Lohberghütte and via Zackermühle, Sommerau to the northern end of the small Arbersee. Uphill Großer Arber, downhill southern end of the small Arbersee. Then continue along the municipal border on the ridge over the Kleinen Arber, Enzian, Schwarzeck, Ödriegel, Mühlriegel, Eck (possible interruption, asphalt road to Kleß, train station), Gr. Riedelstein, Hoher Stein, Mittagstein, Heiglhöhe and Kreuzfelsen, passing under Hirschberg towards Waid. From there, descend again to Bad Kötzting to the train station and take the train back to Cham.
