Wällerrunde mit Dombesuch in Limburg/Lahn

Start in Westerburg Bahnhof. Follow the cycling route Wällerrunde to Wallmerod on the railway path Westerburg-Wallmerod. In the center of Wallmerod, we turn right off the B8 and follow the route markings of Wällerrunde until Elz. In Elz (RLP), we leave the cycling path Wällerrunde and follow the cycling path R8 (Hesse) to the cathedral in Limburg. Notable old town with many local eateries. On the way back, we follow the route markings R8 to Hadamar. Castle, memorial to NS victims. After Hadamar, we continue along the R8 markings and meet the Wällerrunde signage again in Niederzeusheim. We follow it to Dornburg (a long climb and riding through the forest until Wilsenroth. From here, we orient ourselves to the Basal route, which leads via Wilmenrod and Guckheim to Kölbingen, where we return to the railway path Westerburg-Wallmerod.
