Die Strecke verläuft von Kevlavik an Vogar vorbei nach Reykjavik.
Ab dort verläuft sie der Ringstraße 1 entlang rund um Island (ohne Westfjorde).
Ab Reykjavik geht es dann an der Südküste entlang über Grindavik nach Kevlavik.
