About this route
This was a great ride on mostly low and zero traffic roads. D979 was a beautiful road with outstanding scenery, but even though the traffic was relatively low, there was still too much. It's still, though, a great road to take. D907 in and near Anduze also had a bit of traffic.
We highly recommend the Auberge du Peras, which is where we always stay when we come this way. The food is some of the best we've had in France. We've been coming here since we happened upon the place in 2004.
