An option to reach Gorna Oryahovitsa that completely avoids the busy road to Arbanasi, though regardless, the route still passes through it. This greatly extends the route, and from Arbanasi to the Bozhur hut there is a 3 km unpaved section. But the whole trail is one of the most beautiful. Dense forests, fresh air, ZERO traffic. The descent from the Bozhur hut passes by the St. Ilia monastery.
