Wilder Rodeo-Ritt durch den Ostteil der elbischen Insel

Bis auf den Abschnitt auf der Hauptstraße von Portoferraio bis Porto Azzuro kommt man auf dieser Runde vom Verkehr relativ unbehelligt durch die östliche Inselwelt.

Der Schlenker über Capoliveri ist optional, bringt jedoch jede Menge Höhenmeter und faszinierende Ausblicke.

Besonders ruhig und abenteuerlich führt der Abschnitt ab Rio nell'Elba durch beinahe "archaische" Landschaften ans einsame und windige "Nordkap" bei Cavo. Den Rückweg erarbeitet man sich schließlich tapfer und ausdauernd aufwärts über den Paß mit der Burgruine Volterraio. Einfach wow!

Anschließend ziehen einen Blick und Schwerkraft rasant die Kurven hinunter zur Bucht von Portoferraio und zum Startpunkt in Magazzini. Mehr davon!
