Great bike tour. Mostly bike paths or lightly trafficked roads (however, Weilheim-Gruibingen is a detour route of the A8 and, in case of a traffic jam on the A8, a sleepy country lane temporarily becomes a European main artery, with all the consequences). The absolute highlight of the tour is the section through the Tiefental between Blaubeuren Weiler and Sontheim. Pure nature, a gravel path but easily rideable, with rocks on both sides. The valley leads into a heathland landscape just before Sontheim.
