Passo 100 croci (da Albergo Alpino)-AVML-Passo del Rastello-SP Arzelato-Pontremoli

You start from the Albergo Alpino climbing towards Passo 100 Croci. After 3 km, you take the secondary road on the right towards Passo Scassella. Continue to Lago Secco and, at km 7.63, we reach Passo della Cappelletta. Shortly after, we enter the dirt road of the Alta Via dei Monti Liguri. The road climbs steeply for about 4 km until almost reaching Foce dei Tre Comuni. Still on dirt for about 4 km downhill until Case Biagi. We continue always on a comfortable road until Adelano and Passo del Calzavitello. Now another 4 km (mainly dirt) to reach Passo del Rastello. Here we have various options to descend to Pontremoli.

We continue on the AVML for another 4 km until we are near Monte Stronzo. Here, a sharp left turn leads us onto a forest road. After 2 km on dirt, we continue on a comfortable road that intersects the SP 36 of Arzelato. We turn right and follow it for about 3.5 km. We then turn left onto the Mulattiera Pradalinara Torrano. This is over 7 km of dirt descent. We reach Cavezzana and then the station in Pontremoli.
