<p>2nd stage.</p> <p>This stage nicknamed 'The big plain' is characterized by a lot of flat terrain, with only 2 small climbs halfway through that certainly won't hurt the legs. However, this does not imply that this stage has anything to envy from the best mountain stages, in fact, a heart-pounding finish is expected, because 5 km from the finish line there is an underpass with a descent that, if exploited to the fullest, could allow those who want to attack to gain a few meters. If then in the remaining 5 km they manage to maintain even just 10/15 seconds, they could arrive at the finish line alone, but if that doesn't happen, a 'bagar' is still expected to seek the best position ahead of the sprint, which is set on a really long and wind-exposed straight...</p>
