Aggirando il Monte Tremalzo, in un ambiente di wild e poco frequentato, macchie di larici, pini mughi e faggi incorniciano pascoli scoscesi, fino a Bocca di Val Marcia, terrazza sui laghi di Ledro e Garda. Da qui una breve e gratificante salita porta al Corno della Marogna, torre panoramica mozzafiato sul frastagliato paesaggio circostante e ultima fatica prima della tappa finale al Rifugio Garda. Da qui lungo la strada asfaltata che in breve raggiunge il punto di partenza.
