About This Route

Mit der Buslinie 342 von Los Christianos nach Portillo am Ende des Hochplateaus vom Teide fahren. Von dort ca. 250Hm bergauf am Asphalt bis zu einer Einbuchtung mit beginnendem Schotterweg (durch Schranke versperrt!). Danach im Schotter bergauf die Aussicht auf den Teide und das Hochplateau (Canadas) genießen, bevor es links reingeht auf eine sehr rumpelige Schotterstrasse, die immer grober wird. MTB mit Vollfederung und min 120mm Federweg ist angebracht (je mehr desto besser) den Barranco del Rio kann man hinein als guter Fahrtechniker fahren, heraus geht nur schieben und tragen.
