La Segureña

Cycling tour through the natural park of Sierra de Segura. Starting from the town hall square of Beas de Segura, we will head towards the N-322 road, an ancient Roman route that will take us to Arroyo del Ojanco and Puente de Genave. Further on, we will leave the national road towards Puerta de Segura, which will open the path to the sierra, leaving behind the olive groves, to tackle the first climb of the day, Orcera. Having already set our sights on the castle of Segura, which will be our next tough objective of the day. Later, we will continue the march through pine forests on a narrow, winding, and uphill road, full of springs to our passage to reach the intersection we will take towards Hornos passing through the new road of Ballestera, which will provide us with beautiful views of the Tranco de Beas reservoir. Once we pass Hornos, we will arrive in Cortijos Nuevos heading to Beas de Segura, which will invite us to climb the last pass of the day. After that, we will cross through some villages in the region such as Cañada Catena or the Cuevas de Ambrosio, to finally arrive through the Vistalegre part to the endpoint of our route.
