Se accede recorriendo 15 km. por la RN 51 con direccion al vecino pais de Chile y luego se empalma por la ruta provincial 129.Se llega luego de una subida constante de 20 km. y a partir de alli se desciende a Santa Rosa de los Pastos Grandes, pequeño poblado cercano al Salar de Pocitos.
