Ladies and knights – 4 days by bike to castles and palaces in the Münsterland for boys and girls! (10-12 years)

By bike, we are heading back to the Middle Ages to the castles and palaces and will get creatively medieval. Together with kids from the Jakobi Youth Center Rheine, we cycle through the Münsterland. Along the way, we will visit castles and palaces and engage in active creative projects. The group of about 12 people will overnight in youth centers and community houses along the route, where they can roll out their air mattresses and use the kitchen for meals. The daily stages are planned to be around 40 km, appropriate for the age, and additionally, there will be a visit to an outdoor pool on the program every day.

The cycling trip will be led by educational staff Jörg Eßlage from the Freiraum youth café and Carsten Timpe from the Jakobi youth center.

What to bring: a traffic and puncture-safe bicycle, a bicycle helmet, suitable bicycle bags, practical clothing (e.g. sturdy shoes, knee-length pants/better cycling shorts, T-shirt, hoodie, rain jacket. A tour T-shirt will be provided.)
