Großer Erleshügel-Gehlberg

Part 2 leads over the difficult ramp to Eisenberg to the Liftbaude, which has now been closed for almost 2 years. I then took the path parallel to the lift down—I’ve also conquered it several times. I think I will ride it back up this year, but only when one can ride in short clothes—the overheating in winter gear makes it impossible at the moment. Short break in the village—then up to the Rennsteig train station—there are still trains running up there from time to time. At some point, there should be one running again all the way to Themar or Suhl. Well, I believe humanity will only need trains on such routes again when they can no longer drive cars (that is, when it becomes too expensive). Personally, I think I can score more points with my bike than train or car drivers can—let alone the fun it brings.
