Departure from home around 10-11 AM - Join the golf then the Via Rhôna. Continue towards La Roche de Glun, then Glun, then Mauves via the Champlong path. In Mauves, head towards the railway track then take the very steep road of 'the hell of men' but with recoveries. Join the 'Piparde' where the gradient eases, then Plats (this is where the first climb ends). Take the ridge road towards St Romains de Lerps (this is where the second climb ends). Join St Sylvestre then Gilhoc sur Omèze (3rd climb), then Colombier le Jeune, then St Barthélémy le Plain before joining Tournon via the road from Raviscole. Take the bridge over the Rhône, the wine route, pass under the motorway and reach the intersection of the 7 paths. Then take the direction of Beaumont-Monteux then cross the Isère before arriving at Chateauneuf sur Isère. Take the road to Bourg-lès-Valence passing through the Armailler district.
