About this route
Die erste Etappe ist gemütlich. Wir fahren mehr oder minder steigungsfrei am ionischen Meer entlang. Probleme hat nur derjenige, der am Abend zuvor zuviel Primitivo di Manduria, einem der besten Rotweine Süditaliens, genossen hat. Das Problem haben wir übrigens auf der ganzen Reise. Ansonsten ist es ein Spaß, am türkisblauen Meer entlang mit weiten Blicken auf Gallipoli zuzufahren. Schon die Griechen nannt sie "kalli polis" - die schöne Stadt. Dawischen machen wir im hübschen Porto San Cesareo Picknik und schauen mal, wie warm das Wasser Mitte April schon ist. So kann es weitergehen!
