paris-dinant

This route is part of my "Paris - Amsterdam (Benjaminse)" route collection that covers a ~690 km route between Paris and Amsterdam. It is the reverse of the Dinant - Paris Benjaminse route. We drove this during 3.5 days end of June 2017. Because the GPS track was obtained by reversing the Benjaminse track there are a few places in which the track leads along a one-way road (notably along the Canal St. Martin in Paris and one or two other places. It's easy to correct for that. It's a beautiful highly recommended route. We didn't ride the Laon-Besmont part of this route, but used the "Laon - Besmont (through Clermont les Fermes)" route instead, since this lead us to a nicer hotel for our overnight stay. We stayed the first night in the Ermitage de la Fontaine des Bois in Pierrefonds, a lovely bed-and-breakfast and the third night in Les Heures Claires, in Hastiere (Belgium). Also highly recommended. The seond night we were on the "Laon - Besmont (through Clermont les Fermes)" route and stayed in the Chateau de Clermont les Fermes in Clermont-les-Fermes.
