Ruta ideal para hacer en primavera y disfrutar del las dehesas del valle del Ambroz y alrededores.
Los primeros 18 km transcurren por uno de los tramos más bonitos de la "Vái de la Plata"
El segundo tramo, la carretera que vá de Cáparra a la presa del pantano de Gabrel y Galán también es preciosa y muy tranquila.
El última tramo es un poco más soso y de carretera con algo más de tráfico, pero también en mejor estado. Una alternativa interesante puede ser, desde Moheda de Granadilla, la carretrea que va por pesaga y sigue hasta El Casar de Paloero por la rivera del río "Los Ángeles". Es un poco más largo pero se evita el puerto. Nos la recomendaron en Pinofranqueado, después de haber hecho ya la ruta.
