About This Route

The route starts at the railway station in Puławy at goes along a Vistula river to historical town Kazimierz Dolny. Further along the river you will get to Mięćmierz, an old settlement which dates back to Middle Ages and it preserved its historical style. The other interesting point on the trip is Żmijowiska - reconstructed settlement from about 9th century. Later, riding partly through a forest and partly on paved roads you will get to Opole Lubelskie and on the other side of river - Solec nad Wisłą. From this point you have about 30 km of silent paved road with almost no cars, until you get to Janowiec, which is known from its castle. The trip ends at the railway station in Dęblin.

Trasa zaczyna się na stacji kolejowej w Puławach i prowadzi wzdłuż Wisły do historycznego miasteczka Kazimierz Dolny. Dalej wzdłuż Wisły dotrzesz do Mięćmierza - starej osady, której korzenie sięgają średniowiecza i która zachowała swój historyczny klimat. Kolejnym ciekawym punktem wycieczki są Żmijowiska - zrekonstruowana osada z ok. IX wieku. Dalej, jadąc częściowo po lesie i częściowo po asfalcie dojedziesz do Opola Lubelskiego i po drugiej stronie rzeki - do Solca nad Wisłą. Z tego miejsca czeka cię ok. 30 km jazdy po cichej asfaltowej drodze, prawie bez samochodów, aż dojedziesz do Janowca, który znany jest ze swojego zamku. Trasa kończy się na stacji kolejowej w Dęblinie.
