Starting point: Burgau main square – along Herrengasse and Fürstenfelderstraße to the Leidensmann Chapel. Turn right onto Forsthausweg through the small woodland to the 'Müllner Kreuz'. Here turn right, continue straight on the gravel path, passing the cattle pasture of the Borckenstein family. At the edge of the forest, you pass a simple barrier and continue walking until the double barriers at the top of the slope. Here turn right and go straight ahead following the descent to the fork in the path. Turn left and continue along the winding gravel path. You pass another barrier and the forest path with a gentle slope leads onto a narrow asphalt road, where you continue to the right. At the next forestry road leading right into the forest, turn and follow it to a T-junction. Ascend the slope on the right to the next T-junction, then turn left, always straight ahead, passing a house. After about 100 m, a grassy path branches off again to the left (barrier). Follow this downhill path to the Ziegelteich, at the fisherman's hut turn right, continue uphill to the Trinity Chapel and the pilgrimage church Maria Gnadenbrunn. Follow the church path and the Heinrich Dalla Rosa trail back to the starting point at the main square, passing the Posch bakery, the fire station, and the Eder blacksmith.
