The San Zeno - Garda Panorama route is mostly relaxed, often away from heavy traffic on paved roads.

The starting point can optionally be:

However, this adds more elevation.

You follow the short steep climb to the Family Resort right at the large parking lot in Albisano. This leads to a dirt path without significant incline towards the paved road to San Zeno di Montagna.

On the paved road, you go up to San Zeno - with an acceptable amount of traffic. Do not ride side by side. Fridays are usually busier.

In San Zeno, you pass through the town and enjoy the first breathtaking views. Then you follow the road straight north, which then leads to a long descent. The fresh breeze is a pleasure and rewards the initial effort. There are several panoramic views.

You continue descending towards the lake until you pass above Castelleto di Brenzone heading towards Biaza.

In Biaza, you can take a detour down (30 - 50 m elevation) to then climb back up at 30%.

Now there is a bit more tourist traffic on the narrow road, so be cautious.

Attention - hard to see junction!

At the hairpin turn - paved - be careful to correctly find the narrow hiking trail to the right of the house (see marking).

Now you follow the hiking trail always above the lake, avoiding the traffic below.

There are various options to get to the main road. Those who follow the Via Salto reach a small pebble beach where you can take a nice break.

Now you either continue on the main road or ride parallel on the gravel and meadow path.

Sharp up the back to the "cluster" Crero. A wonderful quiet road - paved with little traffic. In Crero there is a sweet restaurant with a great view.

Just behind, you follow the last approx. 150 m elevation towards Albisano on a forest path with a rolling profile. Less trained riders may need to push about 200 m, but otherwise the path is quite rideable.

In between, there is a clearing with a magnificent view, worth taking a short break. You will hardly meet other people here and will have found your individual spot.

Conclusion

Although there are a few short difficult sections, the tour is mostly rather relaxed because it is mostly on paved roads. The climb to Crero is a secret tip for insiders who want to get away from the main road or simply don’t feel like climbing from Torri del Benaco.
