<p>Ride from 21.6.2017, sunny, 17-20°, light wind, dry surface.</p> <p>This ride should not be undertaken on weekends or during peak season, as in the Keitum and Braderup area, paths are used that are actually prohibited for cyclists, but with consideration, there is no problem for either hikers or cyclists.</p> <p>The route of 50 kilometers and about 200 meters of elevation starts in Westerland and goes over gravel paths parallel to the train line to Keitum. Keitum is traversed and you come to the coastal path (bicycles prohibited), which follows the coastal strip. One crosses a wooden bridge and has a beautiful view of the sea. The path is passable throughout with the MTB despite some short sandy sections, and in Munkmarsch, there is a small technical feature with a few steps. In Braderup, the singletrail leads to the village itself at the gravel pit. The coastal trail at Braderup is also once again closed to cyclists, but is entirely rideable. From Kampen, we follow the cycle path along the main road to List. After an ice cream or a fish sandwich, we go over the dike towards the north and shortly after the path to Ellenbogen, we go towards the south through the dunes back to Westerland..</p>
