Rundtour ab Volkach

Scenically beautiful, sometimes a bit monotonous route with moderate climbs and a few highlights. Werneck Castle is definitely worth a visit (especially the castle park), and two crossings by Main ferry at Wipfeld and Untereisenstein-Kaltenhausen add a special touch to the ride. Because of the distance and the climbs, which are moderate but sometimes very long, you should only take on this tour if you have at least average fitness. If so, you'll be rewarded with endless scenery and little oncoming bike traffic. Not suitable for bikes with tires that are too narrow.
