Perhaps the most beautiful ride ever. A long, gentle climb on asphalt up to Chandolin. Then continuing on a gravel road where the gradients are never aggressive. You pedal at nearly 2500m up to the pass on a singletrack and the final 200m are either pushed or carried on the shoulder. The summit is magnificent with a 360° panorama and views of the legendary 4000m peaks of Valais. The descent is truly magnificent and complete: it begins with the classic alpine singletrack, quite steep, towards the small lakes where there are natural rocks perfect for taking stunning photos. From the dam starts a very technical section with many boulders hidden by rhododendrons. After passing through an alpine pasture, the most flowing part begins where the adrenaline rises to a thousand and only the gates to open and close break the rhythm of this endless, well-maintained trail.
