About this route
From Emmingen mostly on well-ridable roads to Tengen. With a short stop at the Roman estate BĂĽsslingen via Hilzingen (Peter Thumb church) to the Hohentwiel for a rest. Along the Aach to Aach and then on shady roads past the Schenkenberg chapel with a big final climb back to Emmingen.
With a very small detour behind Tengen to Blumenfeld, one could 'historicize' the tour: "Engen, Tengen, Blumenfeld, the most beautiful towns in the world, but if Aach weren’t also included, it wouldn’t be the same with these three!"
