Radwanderweg Vom Main zur Rhön Etappe 5

The fifth stage (46 km) of the 265-kilometer multi-day tour along the Rhön-Franconian rivers.

Through the spa park, you ride to the Staatsbad Brückenau, where Germany's largest bicycle museum is located. Its visit is mandatory for every cyclist. From Eckards on the way to Zeitlofs, there are unfortunately still some sections that detract from what should be a 4-star tour. Please ride carefully here. However, improvement of the paths is in sight. The route now runs far away from roads and mostly right next to the river up to Obersinn. But before that, with Altengronau and Jossa (the town lies a bit off the route), a few kilometers of Hessian territory are crossed. Between Obersinn and Burgsinn, the route is accompanied by the ICE line and the "old" railway line, providing some variety. Via Ober-, Mittel- and Burgsinn, Rieneck and Schaippach, it returns to Gemünden.
