01a Senda Verde

Circular route, ideal for getting started in the world of MTB, allowing for a comfortable ride alongside the river Ebro and offering possibilities for connections with the GR-99 trail and with Route 9 of the Moncalvillo MTB Center, Pasada de los Blancos.

It starts at the hermitage of Cristo and continues northward, in a section coinciding with the pedestrian walk known as Senda Verde. It crosses a fence that prevents the passage of motor vehicles and continues perpendicularly to the Ebro in an area with magnificent views. Upon reaching the tunnel under the railway, we have the option to return to Fuenmayor or to cross the tunnel to continue on Variant 1B (2.83 km).

This option runs alongside the river towards El Cortijo, until it reconnects with Route 9.

During the route, we may encounter pedestrians, who, let’s remember, have the right of way.
