MdLC navia arqueira ibias, embalse pedras fonsagrada moreira

Leaving Navia de Suarna, we will follow the Navia river to the town of Sena where we will tackle the first climb of the day, the 2nd category Chao de Arqueira.

We head down to San Antolín de Ibias and take the road that runs parallel to the river, leading us to the confluence of both rivers (Navia and Ibias), at the back of the Salime reservoir.

We cross over and divert to visit a unique site like the village of Riodeporcos, accessible only by a footbridge. It is worth visiting the village, one of the most remote in the area.

Then we will face the colossus of the day: the first category of Pedras apanhadas, good kilometers without great elevations but hardly any resting points, through an area of exceptional beauty.

We head out to the main road and after a brief crest through Alto del Acebo we arrive at Fonsagrada where we can either have lunch or stop for a drink.

Then we head towards Lugo and divert towards Lamas de Moreira; upon arriving at the Alto de Louxas through Lamas de Moreira, another good number of kilometers for this 2nd category climb and finally a descent back to Navia through beautiful horse forests.
