Šlapeme za památkami

Do you want to join us for a bike ride to Kurovice? The departure towards Kurovice will be on Saturday, June 16, 2018, at 10:00 am from Ovocná Street in Dolní zahrady, at the place where you enter Zámeček. We will ride through Zámeček, Záhlinice, and Chrášťany to Kurovice. There, we will visit two landmarks. Firstly, the historic fortress of Kurovice, where we have arranged a guided tour (hopefully even in period costumes) and some refreshments (grilled snacks and drinks on tap :)). Afterwards, we will head to the local quarry, which is a natural monument, where another tour awaits us and, if the weather is nice, also swimming. Entrance to the fortress will be voluntary, but please expect an entrance fee for the quarry. In Kurovice, we will also meet the cycling group from Otrokovice. The return will be individual on your own. We can return via Tlumačov and Kvasice. Those participating this year in the "Do rachoty kolem KM" competition will join the prize-giving at 6:00 pm at the boathouse on Bágrák. The route is about 11 kilometers plus the way back. Besides the standard equipment, we recommend bringing as many lights, blinkers, reflective materials, and bells as possible.

The event will take place only in good weather.
