Pontresina - Poschiavo (Bernina Express)

I couldn't help but do (before returning to Valsesia) the most beautiful stretch alongside the Bernina Express... it was there, just a few kilometers from Livigno. So on the day of departure, I had my Sacred Woman accompany me as usual to Pontresina for this (I mistakenly thought) great tourist ride to Poschiavo.

Yeah... a tourist ride indeed... In reality, it was a beautiful tour, demanding uphill and just technical enough to fully enjoy the descent.

In short, a fantastic itinerary that goes through the Passo Bermina with the classic high mountain views, until it glides between lush forests in Poschiavo. And as a travel companion, the Bernina, which I crossed several times along my route and, since I had the chance to "play with it", to see during the descent who would arrive first in Poschiavo...

And I got to Poschiavo first!

I salute the beloved little train and its travelers and (with great reluctance) return home: the holidays in Livigno are the best I've ever had in the mountains!
