Tour Bärchi

A magnificent and varied tour that will convince both the expert and the Sunday rider with its scenic charms. From Flüelen, you reach Isleten via the Swiss Path. From there, an impressive mountain road with several hairpin bends leads to Isenthal. Thanks to the exposed road layout, you enjoy a magnificent view of Lake Uri and the lower Reuss valley. Just before the village of Isenthal, a natural road branches off to the right. It takes us to Vorderen Bärchi. At the small valley station of the aerial cableway, which leads to Oberen Bärchi, tables and benches invite you to take a break. The contrasting landscape of the lower Reuss valley and the view of Lake Uri, which integrates into the mountain landscape like a fjord, impresses. The following descent demands senses and riding skills (difficulty level 2). At the forest clearing of Oberen Cholrüti, you can significantly increase the difficulty with variant A. Those who prefer the wide natural road over the mountain path have also made a good choice. Once you reach the lake road, the route follows the idyllic shore of Lake Uri, along the Swiss Path back to Flüelen.
