Sophienhöhe für Anfänger CLONED FROM ROUTE 150325

Selected route of the Sophienhöhe for beginners with long, easy climbs all the way to the top. There are no very steep climbs, so it is suitable for beginners or those just starting the season. The last (steep) section to the Roman Tower is missing, otherwise it goes all the way to the top. Length about 22 km. The route partly follows new paths opened in 2009. No hairpin descent. The direction of travel must be observed clockwise, as it can otherwise become quite steep. Starting at the parking lot near the landfill entrance between Niederzier and Hambach. Few paved roads, mostly well-maintained gravel or forest paths. I myself ride a trekking bike.
