Grein - Melk - Tulln - Wien

Start from our hostel in Grein. Immediately on the ferry to cross and continue along the south bank. Through Ybbs to Pöchlarn, there is a pause at the kiosk. Arrival in Melk already in the afternoon and thus plenty of time for the famous Melk Abbey with its treasures and for a swim in the Pielach. Beautiful recommended beach.

The next morning we continue towards Tulln. Accommodation only possible in Kronau due to a rock concert at the lakeside stage. But with all comforts. However, the rock concert literally fell through due to heavy rain.

The next morning we continue to Vienna. Very close to the center but extremely easy to find accommodation. Spent three days in Vienna and took a detour towards Bratislava. The end of the tour however already at Schönau at the kiosk, as it was clear that we would not get the hydro boat anymore. In the evening back with the Nightliner (NJ) to the start in Regensburg where fortunately our car was parked right next to the fair and was not towed.
