About This Route

One of our favourite lunch spots is the terrace ("La Grange") at the hotel Crillon-le-Brave. The hotel is one of the places where the rich and famous might be seen, however lunch there is surprisingly聽reasonable (although they do charge for drinks). The Petit Crillon is also good for drinks or a less expensive lunch and makes a great聽location for car/people watching.聽

It is inevitably a ferrocious assent to Crillon, but this is the聽easiest way, especially if you detour to Bedoin (a mecca for the lycra-clad) for morning coffee on route. A nice easy downhill coast home. Avoid the temptation to take one of the more northern聽mountain tracks from Bedoin to Crillon, these are only suitable for VTT聽
