A hike that smells of lavender. After leaving the chestnut trees and before immersing in the cool shade of the beech forests, the trail crosses sunny pastures rich in the famous medicinal plant, once collected by the Andonnes for herbal uses. The route, quite technical and exhausting, is recommended for trained cyclists. The sundials of Monte Croce deserve a stop.
