Come Sibillini2018-TerniPiedipaterno optimized with a passage through the viewpoint of the Cascate delle Marmore. The last stretch before arriving in Sant'Anatolia in September 2018 was uphill and uneven, so it might be worth considering exiting onto the road at Scheggino and picking up the former railway further along, at the station. I also recall another stretch, presumably before Scheggino, where there was a prohibition of passage, the ground was uneven and one had to push the bike on foot while crossing some branches laid across the path... until restoration, it's better to pass through the valley road.
