About This Route

Von Prad zum Reschensee dann zur Haider Alm, dem Hausberg der Einwohner von St. Valentin. Im Winter ein kleines und feines Skigebiet, im Sommer ein Wander- und Bikergebiet mit interessanten Ausblicken.

Der Name „Goas“ kommt aus dem Vinschger Dialekt und heißt auf deutsch Ziege. Als die Bauern in dieser Region vermehrt noch „Goashaltung“ in der Landwirtschaft betrieben, war dieser Berg das Weidegebiet dieser Tiere. Daher der Name Goasberg; für die Biker erhielt diese Tour den Namen „Goasberg-Cross“.
