Michelstadt-Neckar-Rothenberg-Michelstadt

First, we ride a heavily trafficked federal road until we reach Eberbach. The first approx. 15 km start with a gentle incline and then steepen significantly towards Beerfelden. From Beerfelden, there is a nearly 15 km descent down to Eberbach at the Neckar. From Eberbach, we follow the Neckar towards Hirschhorn, a nice flat section for rolling. Upon arriving in Hirschhorn, we can admire the beautiful little town as we head towards Rothenberg. Just at the town exit from Hirschhorn stands the 'Stop O Mat'. At this vending machine, you can grab a ticket to start a time measurement for climbing. Then we head up the hill to Rothenberg, starting off a bit steeper (about 5-8%) and then becoming flatter (about 1-3%). From Rothenberg, we head towards Beerfelden on a flat section. Upon reaching Beerfelden, we continue until this route reconnects with the B45 towards Michelstadt. Once in Michelstadt, you can really let it roll.
