E6 Rein in die Rhön

The sixth part of the stage is similar to the ride through the Harz the previous day and one should never make the mistake of underestimating the Rhön. We leave Fulda, and after a short warm-up climb to Giebelrain, we are already in the extended ascent to the Wasserkuppe, the highest mountain of this low mountain range, which once again offers a fantastic view. Following the Schwedenwall and the Katzenbuckel, the next mountain tests come closely behind, and only then does it become - at least nominally - a bit less mountainous, interrupted by Zahlbacher Steige and Sulzthaler Berg. However, the final third of the stage is quite flat, until we enjoy the last descent down into the Main valley in the residence city of Würzburg, with today's stage destination "Hotel Cafe Demling" in Randersacker.
