About this route

From Narni we reach Terni, passing through the center then heading to the hill to the east along the road of Romita. We pass through Romita and climb again up to San Liberatore, then descend to Collestatte and to Valnerina to reach (via secondary roads) the Cascata delle Marmore. We climb to Papigno, then Marmore and arrive at Piediluco. From the center of Piediluco we go back to Mazzelvetta (trattoria Zi Teresa), we turn left on SP 62 towards Lago di Ventina, we go first right then left on SP 1 towards Contigliano, we pass Repasto “the abandoned village”, at Sellecchia we turn left onto via Montisola, then to the right until Terria, where we turn right to take the bike path of the Conca Reatina and arrive at Rieti. After visiting the historical center, we exit by passing the Ponte Romano, we travel another stretch of the bike path, arrive at the Fonti di Cottorella and, following first some small streets then the SP Turanense, we reach Rocca Sinibalda. We return on the SP Turanense and first reach Colle di Tora, then Castel di Tora.
