Leaving Cassino, you pass by the cemetery, reach Cervaro, the junction for San Vittore del Lazio, the junction for San Pietro Infine, the junction for Ceppagna and arrive in Venafro. You arrive in Capriati al Volturno, and then you start a steep climb for 10 km to Gallo Matese. You skirt Lake Gallo, pass through Letino and reach Lake Matese. After skirting the Lake (with a stretch also unpaved), in the area of the agriturismo Falode, you turn around and descend passing through San Gregorio Matese, Castello di Matese and Piedimonte Matese. You continue to San Potito Sannitico, Gioia Sannitica, cross the archaeological area of San Salvatore Telesino and Telese Vetere, pass through Telese Terme, Solopaca Scalo, Ponte and arrive in Benevento. Now we head decisively east reaching Ariano Irpino, Monteleone di Puglia, Candela, Palazzo San Gervaso, Spinazzola, Gravina di Puglia and arrive in Matera.
