Szedres-Sióvölgye-Paks-Baja-Gemenc-Szekszárd Szedres

The exact length of the loop is 175 km. The missing 10 km is because the Euro-Velo cycling route from Baja to the Szekszárd bridge is unfortunately not recognized by Google Maps, even though this section is one of the most beautiful and calm parts, where cyclists can ride undisturbed on good quality asphalt. Route 51 is quite busy and generally of poor quality, especially before Baja. The condition of the roads through the small villages along the Danube is much better. I tried to shorten the route on the embankment between Fokő and Fajsz, but I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, because although the Euro-Velo signs point this way, the embankment is a dirt road, in many places covered with gravel, making progress with 1.5-inch tires a struggle.
