The cycling route from Olomouc to Šternberk begins in the Olomouc district of Chválkovice. Along the way, you can refresh and rest at the Hlušovice Port. Another pleasant stop on the route is the village of Bohuňovice, where you can visit the Health Centre offering swimming pools, sauna, solarium, and other services. In the village, you can also visit the Derby riding area or enjoy an excellent lunch at the U Borovice restaurant. For your post-lunch dessert, the famous ice cream in Štarnov awaits you, the last stop before Šternberk. In Šternberk itself, be sure to visit the Time Exhibition, the local castle, Ecce Homo Park, and the Šternberk Monastery. You can make your pause enjoyable at the Hotel M restaurant, the Cafe in the Park, or at Žiži – the sweet paradise. From Šternberk, you can continue to explore the beauties of the Litovelské Pomoraví Protected Landscape Area. From the Šternberk train station, follow the cycling path to Lužice. The route then heads to Moravská Huzová, Štěpánov, through Střeň, Hynkov, and up to Horka nad Moravou, where there is a hunting lodge. Along the way, you can see local historical landmarks in the form of churches, memorial trees, and unique natural phenomena that this area offers. The route continues via Lazecká and Heydukova streets to Olomouc's Hradisko. However, Olomouc offers much more: do not miss the Cathedral of St. Wenceslas, the monuments on the Lower and Upper Squares, the Church of St. Michael, or the Hus Congregation. For leisure activities, you can try laser game, bowling, or go-karting. All the impressions and experiences gathered can then be calmly reviewed in one of the parks: Smetanovy, Čechovy, or Bezručovy Gardens.
