About This Route

Construction Alerts Along This Route:

Minnesota River Bluffs LRT Regional Trail<br />Hennepin County is working on Shady Oak Road, and a new bridge over the regional trail is being built. The project includes a temporary underpass for the trail, so the trail will be open much of the time. However, the underpass will be closed when certain hazardous work is being done (such as demolition, pile driving, etc.). A detour will be necessary some of the time, and the route will be marked. The project is expected to be completed in 2009.

_______________________________

The SWLRT underpass under 494 has also been subject to frequent construction closings.  This is easily bypased by continuing to Rowland and coming back south to the trail.

This cycling route is ideal for: City bike

You will cycle on the following surfaces: Paved Unpaved
