Arrival by DB train to Blankenheim Wald, then take the country road to Blankenheim, continuing through woods and fields along the former Esenbahn railway line, following the Ahr Valley route, at Schuld</p>
<p>
cross the federal road (5 km), then continue through the vineyards to Mayschoß, Dernau, Ahrweiler, Bad Neuenahr, Sinzig to the mouth of the Ahr. Follow the Rhine downstream past the Peace Museum to Remagen station.</p>
