About This Route

Back route from Yass to Murrumbateman (visiting sculptures in the field display) and country road route back to Canberra. Safe and not much traffic, other than on way out from Murrumbateman for several kilometres where road is a bit thin though traffic is not intense. After that though turn right onto quite country road past chocalate factory (very nice). After that can take dirt road (little rough but easily do-able) back to Barton Highway, and then into Canberra.
