Cyklotrasa Zbraslav - Zlatníky

Along the southern edge of Prague runs a simple cycling route that is only 9 km long, but is definitely worth riding just for the beautiful scenery. It starts at the Zbraslav railway station and takes you along the Břežanský Stream to the village of Zlatníky.

From the Zbraslav station, you will head towards the minizoo located behind Zbraslav. Shortly after this minizoo, you have the opportunity to see the largest and oldest Celtic fortified settlement in our region. It is situated on the hill Závist and two paths lead to it. If you are an experienced cyclist, you can take the yellow trail, which goes through narrow paths and really challenging terrain. The advantage in this case is that you will pass by the Archbishop's Pavilion, from which you can enjoy a beautiful view of Zbraslav. If not, take the blue trail, where you will ride past the monument of Vítězslav Hálek. This path leads from the tourist signpost junction Hradiště. At the top, there are remnants of Celtic walls which are currently covered for conservation reasons, so there is only a pavilion with information boards where you can read all the necessary details.

After descending back to the path, the route continues to Březany, where you can find, for example, a castle, a Regional Information Centre, a microbrewery, a laser centre or a Celtic Park through which the Břežanský Stream flows. On U Hřiště street, there is also a pub where you can refresh or replenish fluids. From Březany, you will pass by the Pazderák Pond and the artificially created rise called Kamínek, reaching the destination of your journey, Zlatníky.
